Landscape is all around us: in front, behind, beside, far above us, and close underneath. With my art I am trying to give the childlike sense of being lost in it, buried in it. For this reason I often like to use a tall, narrow panel format, to emphasise the height of trees compared to human scale and to concentrate the impact.
